Alexandra Park Friends

We are an informal group which helps to maintain and improve Alexandra Park in Bath. We meet on the first Saturday of each month at 9.30am to clear the park of litter and do small maintenance tasks such as preparing, sowing and weeding the wild flower beds. Afterwards we enjoy a hot drink, biscuits and a chat.

We may also organise one or two public events including a 'seeding day' in April, when we invite local families to help us sow wild flower seeds in prepared beds.

We are a friendly group and welcome new volunteers who enjoy fresh air and a bit of light physical work. Equipment is provided. There is also the potential to become involved in the APF (Alexandra Park Friends) committee meetings and the organisation of events.
