Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling

A registered charity and a long standing provider of accredited psychotherapy and counselling training in the South West, offering a 'find a therapist' service and a low cost counselling service for students, senior citizens and those who are low-waged or unwaged. Please call or email for more information.

We have a 'find a therapist' service for Bath, Bristol and the Southwest. We can help you choose a counsellor or psychotherapist who has a space available immediately, at a convenient time for you, in the right area and who charges a fee that you can afford. Please contact us to speak to someone in complete confidence.

Our low cost counselling service provides affordable therapy for students, senior citizens, those who are low-waged or unwaged and people in receipt of state benefits. This takes place in the confidential setting of our practice rooms in central Bath. Sessions cost £5 or £7 per session depending on income and 10 sessions will be offered.

Counselling is delivered by students who are currently in training with BCPC, either as counsellors or psychotherapists. All our students are supervised by qualified practitioners and offer a professional service. Clients are assessed to ensure the service is suitable for their needs.

We offer 10-week courses on Listening Skills in a Diverse World which are open to all.

Our BACP and UKCP accredited courses integrate humanistic and psychoanalytic approaches. Students can choose a training path of either counselling or psychotherapy, with an emphasis on learning experientially.
