Our friendly and welcoming groups are led by specially trained staff and volunteers. Our groups are for people living with mild to moderate dementia. Using Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy our sessions are based on having fun and forming friendships. Activities use all the senses and include, discussions, movement, crafts, quizzes and music.

We pride ourselves on the positive feel of our day clubs, where our club members are central to what we do, and activities are shaped by what you are interested in.

We are an informal group which helps to maintain and improve Alexandra Park in Bath. We meet on the first Saturday of each month at 9.30am to clear the park of litter and do small maintenance tasks such as preparing, sowing and weeding the wild flower beds. Afterwards we enjoy a hot drink, biscuits and a chat.

We offer a range of services for people with disabilities. We can support individuals with disabilities in mainstream sessions, offer private group sessions and have sessions only for people with disabilities. Our Sailability sessions are perfect for disabled people wanting to learn and try our watersports. We are offering accessible sailing, paddling and powerboat trips.

All-Aboard is an accessible watersports charity based in Bristol Harbour, dedicated to removing barriers so everyone can enjoy the benefits of watersports. We have currently launched a Rowing project for people with Visual Impairments where adults and young people can learn to row in Bristol Harbour with the support of friendly and experienced volunteers.

Avon Fire & Rescue offer free Home Fire Safety Visits to vulnerable people in our communities, to keep them safer from fire in their homes. During our visits we talk about fire safety and install smoke alarms and potentially other fire safety equipment, free of charge. You can find out more about our visits and the eligibility criteria on our website.

The questionnaire leads to an outcome of either fire safety information being sent to you or AF&RS offering a Home Fire Safety Visit.
