Our vision is a world without Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.). Our mission is empowering people with M.E. to fulfil their potential and secure the care and support they need, while working towards a greater understanding of the illness and ultimately a cure. Alongside providing much-needed support services, we work closely with professionals and policy-makers to improve access to appropriate care and support services, and collaborate with scientists, patients and clinicians to drive forward biomedical research into M.E.

Our friendly and welcoming groups are led by specially trained staff and volunteers. Our groups are for people living with mild to moderate dementia. Using Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy our sessions are based on having fun and forming friendships. Activities use all the senses and include, discussions, movement, crafts, quizzes and music.

As part of the Dementia Safeguarding Scheme we, alongside other emergency service partners, have created a wristband to help protect and safeguard those vulnerable people with dementia in our society. We hope these devices will provide some reassurance to families who may be worried about their loved ones at risk.

Bath Mencap Society is a local charity supporting people with learning disabilities and their families and carers in Bath and North East Somerset. We aim to improve the lives of those with a learning disability through education and social activities. We believe everyone with a learning disability should be able to access the same social and leisure activities as their peers, in a safe and relaxed environment, and live fulfilling lives where they are valued equally.

Bath Mind's wellbeing groups support hundreds of people across B&NES in creating new connections and support systems. We have an array of weekly activities and projects available.
