John Paul II Polish Saturday School in Bath

The main task of the School is to create an arena for supporting and encouraging parents and guardians of Polish children to participate in education. The primary goal of the school is to shape national identity among the young generation of Poles, learning the native language and the history and geography of Poland.

About

The main task of the School is to create an arena for supporting and encouraging parents and guardians of Polish children to participate in education by:

  • Teaching Polish with elements of geography, history, music, dance, religion and English for adults
  • Participation of Polish children in school and social life
  • Supporting the building of self-esteem and self-confidence among Poles
  • Cooperation with other authorities, i.e. schools and the Board of Education as well as social organizations
  • Determining the needs of parents and guardians of children
  • Organizing training for school employees.
