About
Keynsham Leisure Centre provides a range of activities and facilities to support health, fitness and wellbeing for the local community. The centre offers swimming sessions and lessons, a fully equipped gym, and a programme of fitness classes for different ages and abilities. The Centre also has two squash courts, a sauna, a soft play facility and a cafe. Sports hall activities, children’s sessions and family-friendly activities help encourage regular physical activity, while inclusive and accessible provision ensures everyone feels welcome.

Healthwise is a GP referral physical activity programme run at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre in partnership between GLL (Better) and Bath and North East Somerset Council (BANES), supporting people to improve their health through safe, supervised physical activity. It is aimed at BANES residents or those registered with a BANES GP who are inactive, living with long term conditions or managing health risk factors. The programme offers tailored, affordable exercise sessions led by the Better Health Team, including supervised gym work, circuits, swimming and specialist cardiac rehabilitation, delivered across Bath Sports and Leisure Centre, Keynsham Leisure Centre and Odd Down Sports Ground. Referrals are made via a health professional, or individuals can contact the Healthwise team directly at healthwise.banes@gll.org.
