About the childcare provider
Description
We're a husband and wife (Mum and Dad) childminding team, both in our 40's and we run The Lighthouse Tiney Home Nursery from our home in Lansdown, Bath.
Above all our greatest joy in life is being parents. Watching our son grow into the thoughtful, curious 11year old he is today has been an incredible journey. Now we're excited to share our love for nurturing young minds by creating a safe, loving and inspiring environment for other children to grow and thrive.
Living in beautiful Lansdown, Bath, we’re lucky to have stunning countryside and a fantastic park just a minute’s walk away—perfect for little explorers! Rain or shine, we’re ready with wellies and wide smiles for outdoor adventures.
We’ll provide a wide range of learning opportunities including:
• EYFS curriculum with a Montessori-inspired, child-led approach
• Baking and cooking
• Physical play and imaginative games (learning through movement, colour, numbers, teamwork)
• Arts and crafts
• Music (we’re a musical family!)
• Mindfulness and emotional wellbeing time
• Exciting local outings
We’re passionate about supporting children in every area of development—encouraging confidence, creativity, curiosity, and joy.
My husband and I are have worked in primary schools for around 20 years and have a wealth of knowledge to offer, especially in the Early Years.
