Description
Bath Opportunity Pre-school (First Steps Bath BOP) is a non-profit making registered pre-school that aims to provide educational and therapeutic services for children with additional needs in Bath and North East Somerset. We provide an environment where staff work in partnership with parents and multi-discipline professionals promoting good practice in early intervention services. Our high ratio of staff to children together with our strong links with Health and Education enables us to care for children's varying needs. We are funded through the local authority Early Years Specialist Service contract. In addition, we run an Early Support Stay & Play service from 9.30-11am every Wednesday during term time. This is an informal session for parents/carers to remain with their children to play, explore and learn. It is an opportunity to discuss any concerns with regards to a child's development in a non-judgemental environment. We have an experienced team, led by our Family Support Worker, who work with children with a wide range of additional needs and can help with concerns over behaviour, development, mobility and more complex needs. It is also an opportunity to meet other families and their children.

Cost breakdown
The session price includes a snack. Lunch can be provided at extra cost. Funded children are These prices include all resources. For funded children, snacks are charged at 60p and there is also a supplementary charge of £0.50 per hour for children using their extended entitlement, (hours over their Universal Entitlement of 15 hours per week).
