About the childcare provider

Description

Laurel Farm Kindergarten is a wonderfully nurturing Steiner setting for children aged 2 - 7 years. The teaching staff are highly qualified and experienced and create a calm and warm environment for children to play and learn naturally. It is based on a 7 acre smallholding with animals, fields and a growing woodland for the children to explore. Children spend every day outdoors doing activities such as gardening, growing vegetables, making fires, playing in the natural stream or doing bush craft activities. Children at Laurel Farm Kindergarten learn to sew, to weave, to bake, to paint, to use basic tools, to do woodwork, to chop vegetables and prepare meals, to treat each other with kindness, to gain independence and to learn language through song and storytelling.
