About the childcare provider

Description

I live in a 4 bedroomed family home with my husband Richard and 3 children. I was awarded 'OUTSTANDING' for my last 2 inspections by Ofsted. My garden backs directly onto woodland providing lots of outdoor experiences. My home is light and airy. I use the whole downstairs living area for the children for a 'home from home environment', not a playroom. Crafts include cake/biscuit baking, seasonal themes. My husband Richard is registered as my assistant and has also been Paediatric First Aid Trained. We attend various groups during the week, normally mornings only so we can be home for lunch and rest before the school run. My working hours are flexible. I have been awarded my Level 3 Diploma. I am now able to take the 2 year funding as well as the 3 & 4 year funding.

We are proud to be rated Outstanding by Ofsted.  We have over 24 year experience and pride ourselves on providing a warm, happy, stimulating environment for all children.
This reflects our commitment to providing exceptional care, a nurturing home-from-home environment, and high-quality early years education. Children in our setting are happy, confident, and make excellent progress from their starting points.
We work closely with families to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn every day.

We know how important it is to find the right place for your child. In our home, children are cared for in a warm, loving and secure environment where they are treated as part of the family.

We take the time to really get to know each child — their interests, their little quirks, what makes them laugh, and what helps them feel safe. By building strong, trusting relationships, we help children grow in confidence and feel happy and settled.

Our days are filled with play, exploration and discovery. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), but most importantly, we follow the children. Whether we are baking in the kitchen, exploring outdoors, attending local playgroups, enjoying stories together, or getting creative with crafts, every experience is planned to support your child’s development in a fun and meaningful way.

We believe children learn best when they feel secure and valued. We encourage kindness, independence and good manners, helping children develop important life skills alongside their learning.

We work closely with parents because you know your child best. We share daily updates and celebrate milestones together, ensuring you feel fully involved in your child’s journey. We are always here for a chat, advice, or simply to share a proud moment.

Healthy lifestyles are important to us. We provide nutritious meals and snacks, promote good oral health, and make sure children enjoy fresh air and physical activity every day.

Above all, we want your child to feel happy, safe and excited to come each day. Our aim is that every child leaves us confident, curious and ready for their next adventure.
