Oldfield Park Pre-School
About the childcare provider
Description
Oldfield Park Pre-School is a charity run by a voluntary committee of parents. We are registered with and inspected by Ofsted. We take children from 2 years old. We accept children in receipt of Free Childcare for Working parents up to 30 hours, Free childcare for 2 years if parents receive certain benefits and the universal 15 hours of free childcare for children over 3 years old.
Our mission is to provide a purposeful and caring learning environment which can be accessed by the whole community. We aim to provide a safe, secure and healthy environment with a wide variety of opportunities for learning (including for families). We value every child as an individual and promote the needs and welfare of children in the local area.
We have a wonderful team of friendly, well-qualified and experienced staff, including a dedicated Special Education Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo). Our staff plan and provide a huge range of activities for the children that relate to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum. These may include painting, singing, outdoor play, dressing up, cooking, stories, puzzles, and many more. In addition to the usual day to day activities, we offer a PE lesson and Pre-school Ballet. These are opt in activities that are charged for separately.
For children of siblings within Oldfield Park Infants school we offer an 8.30am drop off to fit in with the school day. This is a chargeable service.
