Description
Oldfield Park Pre-School is a charity run by a voluntary committee of parents. We are registered with and inspected by Ofsted, and are able to receive Early Years Entitlement funding. This means we can offer up to 15 hours free to children from the term after their third birthday. We are also able to have children receipt of 2 year funding.
Our mission is to provide a purposeful and caring learning environment which can be accessed by the whole community. We aim to provide a safe, secure and healthy environment with a wide variety of opportunities for learning (including for families). We value every child as an individual and promote the needs and welfare of children in the local area.
We have a wonderful team of friendly, well-qualified and experienced staff, including a dedicated Special Education Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo). Our staff plan and provide a huge range of activities for the children that relate to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum. These may include painting, singing, outdoor play, dressing up, cooking, stories, puzzles, and many more. In addition to the usual day to day activities, there are also a whole variety of other events that children have the opportunity to take part in: Harvest Festival, Nativity Play, Christmas Party and Sports Day.
