Description
I am a Level 3 Forest School Leader, Nature Connections Guide and registered Childminder (but not working as a traditional childminder). PlayWood Forest School & Outdoor Learning began in 2011 providing forest school sessions in local schools and for the National Trust. Now I run Summer holiday & Easter holiday sessions for children aged 5 - 11yrs. Full days out in the woods and fields in the beautiful valley of Monkton Combe - examples of activities are den building, whittling, learning about nature, natural crafts, rope work, fire lighting, stories, games, hammocks fun and more. Sessions are child-led where possible giving the children the chance to follow their interests, explore & play. These small group sessions are run by fully qualified outdoor practitioners. PlayWood is Ofsted registered and we take Childcare vouchers & Tax-free childcare. Holiday sessions can be found on the link in the contact details.
