Bath Area Play Project The Hut Pre-school and Nursery is open 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday term time only. Half day sessions are available 9am to 12 noon and 12 - 3pm. We accept 2 and 3 year old funding for 15 and 30 hours and where sufficient interest, may be able to offer extended care. There is a small session charge of £2 per session for books, resources like Forest School & materials like clay and cooking ingredients. We also accept most Childcare Vouchers. Bath Area Play Project provide a high quality early years service based at The Hut in Twerton, Bath for children from birth to 4.5 yrs. We are graded Good by Ofsted and have an experienced staff team who are friendly and welcoming with experience in additional needs and English as a second language. Children of all ages, play and learn together throughout the sessions, we don't separate children by age. Our staff are experienced and friendly and happy to support children with additional needs, We are a play based setting which is permanently set up throughout the year. We have an outside garden with mud kitchen, wooded area, sandpit and bike track, an indoor soft play room and sensory room and we are on the no 5 bus route with unrestricted parking. The setting opens as a targeted holiday playscheme in the Easter, Summer and October school holidays for children with additional needs and disabilities aged 5 - 11 years. We provide a child-centred, holistic and family friendly service which is well trusted and used by families with disabled children across the area.

Cost breakdown
£19.50/£39 per session for each child plus £4 per session for forest school, resources like books and equipment like books. As a term time setting, there is no expectation that parents are paying for the place throughout the year just for the sessions that they book e.g. 15 hours using early years funding provides 5 sessions/week - 5 x mornings, 2 days plus one half day session, either a morning or afternoon.
