Description
This holiday provision is for school aged children from reception to year 11 (inclusive) who receive benefits-related free school meals. Benefits-related free school meals (FSM) are available to pupils if their parents are in receipt of one of the qualifying benefits, and have a claim verified by their school or local authority. Activate Your Holiday programmes, funded by the Department of Education, will be delivered across Bath and North East Somerset by a variety of local and national partners. Each provider offers different opportunities and activities so please do look out for what best suits your child! They offer multi activity, dance and theatre, sports and play camps, along with teenage and SEND specific providers all with experience in delivering high quality holiday camps. There will also be some “roadshows” popping up across the area for the odd day and family drop-in sessions. All sessions will include a physical activity, a free meal, enriching activities and fun! Children will need to bring along a refillable drinks bottle, wear suitable clothing for indoor and outdoor activities- and arrive with lots of energy!
