Norton Hill School
Norton Hill is a co-educational, non-selective 11-18 school with academy status. It is part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership.
Our students come from Midsomer Norton and the surrounding villages of Bath and North East Somerset. Norton Hill School prides itself on providing a secure, stable and well-ordered environment based on traditional values and genuine care and concern for individuals.
We have just over 1900 students at the school of whom 400 are in the Midsomer Norton Sixth Form. In September 2016 we increased our Year 7 entry to eleven tutor groups, in response to a growing demand for places at Norton Hill.
At Norton Hill School we strive to support all our students and enable them to reach their full potential at school. In order to do this, many steps are taken to support them through their learning journey. A broad and balanced curriculum is offered where high expectations and personal challenge afford outstanding outcomes, both academically and socially.
Our extra-curricular opportunities are equally impressive with outdoor education, music, drama, dance and sports all contributing to the outstanding provision available to all our students.
Quality first teaching is vital; however, for some students there are occasions when further additional support may be needed to help them fully access the learning environment and achieve their targets.
