HIT Education recognises the barriers that individuals face within their daily lives. We support people who are at risk of disengaging. Our primary focus extends to crafting specialised accredited programmes for children and young adults within the Inclusion and Social Services sector.
HIT Education was created in May 2017, it has been created to implement effective approaches to supporting people into sustained engagement, training, and employment.
At the heart of our mission is the creation of bespoke provisions designed to nurture the development of new skills, kindle aspirations, bolster confidence, elevate self-esteem, and enhance overall ability. We recognise the significance of overcoming barriers associated with participation in learning and accessing future employment opportunities. Through tailored interventions, we aim to break down these barriers, enabling individuals to navigate their educational and professional journeys with resilience and success.

How we work
We deliver in an environment that fits the client’s needs. Support is provided through a Personal Support Plan; where we mentor, as well as educate each client. We offer 1-2-1 and group workshops, delivering through varied teaching method. Throughout delivery we support with:

Future partnership development
HIT Education, with its commitment to providing alternative provision to young people disengaged from education, can employ a multi-faceted approach to support various needs: from one-on-one provisions and small group work to aiding those who are permanently excluded, and facilitating the transition of young people back into schools or their local area. Our key objectives are:
- Supporting the Schools and Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) with One-to-One Provisions
- Small Group Work to Re-engage Young People
- Supporting Young People Who Are Permanently Excluded
- Transitioning Back into School
- Supporting Young People Placed Outside the Council Back into the Local Area
Work-Related Education Provision: Year 11 provision.
Employability Provision
Offer workshops on resume writing, interview skills, and job search strategies. We also offer work-placed learning and volunteering opportunities.
Community and engagement projects
Community projects within the bespoke education packages of HIT Education is a proactive approach to preventing and raising awareness around anti-social behaviour. Focusing on wellbeing activities can create a positive impact on young people, by implementing these community projects, HIT Education can contribute significantly to preventing anti-social behaviour, raising awareness, and fostering a sense of respect and responsibility within the community. Maintaining a routine offers stability and predictability, helping young people develop time management skills, establish healthy habits, and improve focus. It fosters independence and reduces stress by providing a clear structure in their daily lives. Delivering well-being activities contributes to emotional regulation, increased self-awareness, and social connection. These activities, including mindfulness and physical exercise, enhance coping skills, promote a positive mindset, and support holistic development.
