Targeted Provision

Targeted Provision provides face-to-face and online support to the nation’s most vulnerable young people. We offer trauma-informed 1-to-1 and small group tuition and mentoring to young people with Social and Emotional, or Additional Educational Needs, including those who are care experienced and those with EHCPs. Our support is delivered in young people’s homes, in schools, and in community venues.

We provide specialist tutoring and mentoring to young people with a range of complex additional needs. Our support is designed to cater to the needs of young people with unmet SEND and SEMH needs, including, but not limited to young people who:

  • Are experiencing high anxiety, including those with emotionally based school avoidance
  • Are care-experienced or have a social worker
  • Are permanently excluded or at risk of permanent exclusion
  • Are known to the Youth Offending Team
  • Are medically unable to attend school
  • Are an Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Child (UASC)
  • Are awaiting a Special School place

A powerful alternative to mainstream tuition agencies

Targeted Provision offers face-to-face and online tuition and mentoring to the UK's most vulnerable young people. This includes support for care-experienced young people, those facing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges and those with other special educational needs.

Targeted Provision emerged as a response to these challenges: our mission is to raise the  standard of education for vulnerable learners. We have re-defined tuition as relational learning, offering a powerful alternative to mainstream tutoring agencies. Our tutors are qualified teachers with significant experience of supporting young people with additional needs and share a commitment to trauma-informed practice.
