Student work on a level 1 & 2 construction course engaging in such activities as Carpentry, Bricklaying, Wall tiling, Plastering, Rendering, Painting, Wallpapering and Plumbing.
Our course is made up of 16 units and range between 25 and 60 guided learning hours. The course is split into three stages of accreditation so when a student completes:-
2 unit = award
7 units = certificate
16 units level 1 diploma. (Awarding Body Ascentis)
We work with students aged 14-16 and post 16. Our aims are to build confidence and self esteem and to help them into a college or apprenticeship in their chosen career.
