Education for 12-16 year olds finding traditional schooling too challenging. Specialising in engaging those who are school avoidant or struggling to engage in a community. We help develop young people to a position to willingly engage in learning

Education for 12-16 year olds
We provide education for young people aged 12-16 who find traditional schooling too challenging. Specialising in engaging those who are school avoidant or struggling to connect within a community, we develop students to willingly re-engage with learning in a supportive, tailored environment. Our provision is fully compliant with B&NES and Wiltshire standards, and we can provide schools with all necessary policies, procedures, and evidence of learning.
We operate in partnership with Bath College to deliver high-quality educational programmes and are currently an unregistered Alternative Provision, with plans to register with OFTSED next year. This year, attendance rates among our students have risen from 30% to 75%, and 100% of students sit exams, with an impressive 85% pass rate.

Key Stage 3 off-site programme
Our Key Stage 3 programme supports students aged 12-14 to enhance their Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) skills, teamwork abilities, and communication skills. Delivered twice a week at our Bath hub, this carefully curated curriculum is designed to help students prepare for a smooth transition back to full-time education. Initial engagement includes transport options to facilitate attendance, while our process incorporates Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) assessments and diagnostics to tailor the approach for each individual. The curriculum is adapted to each student’s personalised learning plan, ensuring a focused and supportive environment.

BOOST Alternative Provision for 14–16-year-olds
BOOST caters to students aged 14-16 who find mainstream schooling challenging. Delivered in partnership with Bath College, this comprehensive programme focuses on Functional Skills Maths and English, supported by initial assessments and personalised curriculum plans. Alongside academic development, students receive SEMH support, PSHE sessions, and life skills training, which includes work experience and workplace visits.
The BOOST programme has exam outcomes at an 85% pass rate and a consistent record of successful transitions to further education, employment, or training. BOOST offers an environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.

ADVANTAGE programme
The ADVANTAGE programme is a targeted initiative designed to support young people, aged 16-25, at risk of becoming, or are, NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). Through personalised mentoring, skills development, sports activities, and real-world experiences, ADVANTAGE aims to re-engage students with education and improve their future prospects through work experience and business partnerships.
Our commitment to student welfare is evident in our attentive approach to individual needs, ensuring that each participant receives the support necessary to succeed. We achieve a 90% success rate in funding a sustainable next step into education, employment or training.

How schools can refer students
We welcome referrals for our Key Stage 3, BOOST and ADVANTAGE programmes and aim to make the process seamless for schools. Our team is dedicated to engaging families, improving attendance, nurturing personal development, and facilitating onward journeys for all students. With adjusted timetables, adapted environments, and a supportive staff-to-student ratio of 1:2, we ensure that every student receives the individualised attention they need.
