Kandu Arts for Sustainable Development Ltd

Kandu Arts has delivered AP and community services to Wiltshire, BANES, Somerset, Swindon, Berkshire and beyond for 20 years.

We provide a personalised alternative provision and NEET programmes to children, young people and their families. The programme is both creative and process led, promoting inclusion and personal development. We utilise a combination of 1 to 1 and group work - mentoring and therapeutic support is provided as a ' wrap around service' to support the development of the young person’s emotional literacy, behaviour management and coping mechanisms. This holistic approach has proven highly successful and effective at building strong relationships, facilitating individuals to get help, opportunities and confidence they need to improve their life chances/outcomes.

Support for learners with SEND to meet the needs and outcomes on their EHCP by:

  • the development of an individual alternative provision plan to meet the needs of their EHCP and continual liaison with Lead workers at all stages.
  • Direct contact with SEND lead worker for reviews and professional contribution at regular intervals.
