About

Beaumonds is registered to provide care and accommodation for up to 5 children (aged between 8 and 18) with physical disabilities and/ or learning disabilities per night.  

Beaumonds offers short breaks to children and young people on 4 nights of the week (Tuesday  -  Friday). The purpose of a short break being to promote independence, positive relationships and enjoyment. 

Beaumonds is a large, detached property, with large living spaces including an outbuilding, and great outside spaces covering approximately half an acre.  

The children's service is commissioned by Bath & North East Somerset's Children's Services who make the initial referrals of children and young people aged between 8-18 years. Referrals to the service are accepted via the local Disabled Children's Team following an assessment of need.

Action for children registered Beaumonds as a Children's home in October 2017. Claire Baylis is the Registered Manager of the home.
