Autism Supported Housing
We offer an 8-bed supported housing project in Bath for Adults with a diagnosis of Autism. The intention is for all residents to move into independent living within two years.
Commissioned through B&NES, this service offers personalised support to enable residents to develop independent living and social skills. We work with other agencies such as social services and state specialist services e.g. B&NES & Bristol Autism Advice Service (BAAS) to ensure the right package of support is in place, at the right level and at the right time.
What can you expect?
- A comfortable, supportive environment with staff available between the hours of 09.00-17.00 Monday to Friday. A Julian House on-call service available for out of hours emergencies.
- A support plan based on your strengths and aspirations for the future, including, where appropriate, access to a personal budget that you can tailor to your needs both present and future.
- Access to both onsite and offsite activities that develop living, social and where appropriate employment skills. Julian House always try to ensure residents build a strong and appropriate support network that can be maintained when moving on.
Residents can stay for up to two years and are encouraged to become an integral part of the house community. Julian House support staff work with residents, their families/carers and other professionals to ensure everyone who needs to be, is included in the residents’ support.
