Genesis Trust Bath
The Genesis Trust exists to offer immediate practical help to people who are hungry, homeless and vulnerable, and provide long-term help and opportunities for them to rebuild their lives. We work individually with people on their journey from despair to hope, from crisis to independence.
LIFELINE is a day centre providing crisis support for people who are homeless, vulnerably housed or experiencing complex challenges such as financial insecurity, mental health and substance misuse. We can provide food, clothing, small household items, access to a shower and laundry facilities, phones and IT and much more.
We also offer one-to-one support where you can talk to a member of the team. We particularly focus on the home and tenancy matters and financial problems; but if we can help on any matter we will endeavour to do so.
At LIFE SKILLS we offer people access to a range of health and well-being activities that are practical, creative and therapeutic. Our aim is to provide activities that are relevant and of interest to people, meeting them where they are at in their lives without judgement or agenda, with the hope that our activities will be a part of their journey towards a healthier more fulfilling life.
THE LIFE COURSE is aimed at supporting people in their recovery from addiction, trauma and poor mental health. It's about adding an extra layer of recovery capital into the lives of people seeking to find a pathway to more wholeness.
BATH FOODBANK, Part of a national network of food banks seeded by the Trussell Trust, Bath Foodbank provides three day emergency food parcels to people in crisis.
GENESIS TRUST FURNITURE SHOP sells quality, second-hand furniture to raise funds to help support homeless and vulnerable people in the Bath area. We do this by receiving furniture donations from the community.
