Access and Eligibility
Shared Ownership
A selection of stunning 1- and 2-bedroom apartments is available through Older Persons Shared Ownership (OPSO), offering a more affordable route to purchasing a later-living home.
At Pemberley Place, you can purchase a share between 25% and 75% of the property with rent on remaining share.
If you purchase 75% share, then there is no rent payable on the remaining share.
OPSO may be suitable if you are looking to downsize to a low‑maintenance home with flexible ownership options.
Rental Eligibility
To be eligible for a rented apartment, you must meet the following criteria:
- You currently live in Bath and North East Somerset, or can demonstrate a strong local connection (e.g., close family in the area).
- Your current housing is no longer suitable for your needs.
Tenants are responsible for rent, service charges, Council Tax and household utility bills.
Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for Housing Benefit, which can contribute towards rent, service and support charges.
The service charge helps cover the cost of maintaining safety systems, as well as heating and lighting in the communal areas.
