We provide information, advice and practical support to help people understand their options, access the right services and feel supported at any stage of sight loss.
Our support includes:
- Local Community Hubs across the area, including Bath, Keynsham, Chew Magna and Midsomer Norton. These friendly hubs offer one-to-one advice from a Community Sight Loss Advisor, information and guidance, and demonstrations of helpful equipment.
- Social groups and opportunities to connect with others, both in person and online.
- Technology and digital skills support to help make everyday devices easier to use.
- An Audio CD library.
- A course for people who are newly diagnosed or adjusting to changes in their sight.
- Eye Can exhibitions – one day events showcasing services, technology and equipment for blind and partially sighted people.
