About
We are a volunteer-led organisation offering various types of support to refugees and asylum seekers depending on their status in the UK. Amongst other things we offer free English classes both online and in-person; help to find housing and furnish and equip it; resettlement volunteers to help people to appointments or support them to find their way about; school liaison and education support help; gardening; homework support for children; employability signposting; DIY and benefits advice; social groups and events and activities around the local area. We also monitor the larger refugee picture and organise donations and volunteers to Calais amongst other projects.
