Our activities range from 1:1 practical or emotional support to co-ordinating groups, learning opportunities, projects and community events. At the core of our work is the principle of exchange, reciprocity and involvement. Our projects help to enhance wellbeing, promote confidence and self-esteem, build skills and capacity and support people in making positive life changes.
Our groups currently include: Community based Lunch Club; Gardening team; Allotment group; 'Borrow It' library of things; Guitar group; Art courses; Health Walks; Creative Writing group (online). Other projects, groups, activities or events may be set up in response to demand and there are also opportunities for local peer-led groups to use our centre & facilities free of charge. Volunteering opportunities could include: driving, assisting or leading a group, CV advice, IT support, dog walking, etc. We are always open to new suggestions, offers or requests.
