U3A (The University of the Third Age) is a UK-wide movement which brings together people no longer in full time employment to develop their interests and continue their learning in a friendly and informal environment.

Bath U3A provides all types of creative, educational and leisure activities. We have over 1500 members and more than 100 activity groups. We organise coach trips to theatres and museums, regular talks and short breaks.
Everyone is welcome - no qualifications are required. You just have to be retired from full time work.
Our activity/interest groups
We have lots of individual activity groups which cover a wide range of interests, including: modern literature, badminton, computers, philosophy, French, embroidery, history, hiking, and many more……
Our groups meet during the day either in members' homes or at a suitable location.
