RUH Digital Inclusion Team

The Royal United Hospital in Bath offers a Digital Support Service for patients in active treatment, either as an inpatient or when attending an outpatient appointment, working in partnership with our Family Liaison colleagues and with the Community Wellbeing Hub.

Our Digital Navigators can help:

  • Accessing Wi-Fi whilst in hospital
  • Sourcing devices / services for people who cannot afford them
  • Signposting to community services
  • Training / exploring how to use your smartphone, tablet or laptop to help support your health journey
  • Setting up and using the NHS app
  • Finding apps / websites which might help you with healthcare and looking after yourself, including befriending services etc.
  • Onboarding patients to use self-monitoring devices whilst in Hospital at Home
  • Video calling with inpatients to home or other patients in the hospital
  • Keeping safe online

New in January: Monthly Click Café in the RUH Friends Café see Age UK Bath & North East Somerset | Digital Inclusion for more information.
