Combe Down Holiday Trust

The Trust provides financial help, advice and information, to enable users to benefit from holidays, short breaks, day activities, theatre experiences or therapeutic treatment not normally provided by the statutory authorities. It also seeks to promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people with physical, mental or sensory impairment or special educational needs who are socially excluded by assisting them to integrate into society.

The main objects for which the Trust is established are:

1.      The relief of sickness and the preservation of health among people residing permanently or temporarily in Bath and North East Somerset.

2.      To preserve and protect the health of those caring for people with physical, mental or sensory impairment within the family or home.

3.      To help persons suffering from mental or physical illness of any description or in need of rehabilitation as a result of such illness.

4.       To advance in life and help young people with special educational needs and young carers.
