The Ammerdown Centre

We offer a range of days throughout the month to bring people together. Such as a Refreshing Day for Carers which takes place one Thursday a month from 10am - 3pm and includes a range of activities and cooked lunch, TLC Days for the Retired which takes place one Tuesday a month from 10am - 2pm and on the last Monday of the month we hold a Cuppa and Chat from 2pm - 4pm, where anyone is welcome to join who may benefit from a community connection.

Refreshing Day for Carers

Caring for others can be challenging, and everyone deserves some support. Join us for one of our Refreshing Day for Carers and take a breath. Join in with a range of activities, or simply take some time to relax, and enjoy a delicious two-course lunch with other Carers. The day is £19.00.

These days are especially designed for those who care for a loved one or a friend to come to Ammerdown and enjoy a day of restoration and relaxation.

The day starts at 10am with tea or coffee on arrival. We then invite you to join our optional Chapel service at 10:40am or continue to enjoy your refreshments until 11am. You then have the option to join an activity. At 12:30pm the gong for lunch will sound and you will enjoy a delicious home cooked two course meal in our dining room. At 2pm the second optional activity session will begin. The day ends at 3pm but not before you’ve enjoyed a delicious slice of Ammerdown cake. The day is £19.00

The event is designed for anyone who feels that community connection would benefit their current life circumstances. Refreshments are provided.

The site is accessible to disabled people and we welcome all backgrounds.  Community transport can be used to get the Centre. Donations Welcome.
