We run a friendly, gluten free cafe in the heart of Midsomer Norton. We host many types of talking therapies, support groups, classes are lgbtq friendly. We cater for everyone and have private spaces for those who need peace.

Bathford Village Shop and Cafe

We are a small, cozy village shop with an attached café, and being listed in the Warm Spaces directory, we offer the following to our guests: • A warm and comfortable place to sit and relax • Access to toilet facilities and limited parking • Free Wi-Fi • A board game, book, and jigsaw puzzle library in the café, free to use or borrow • Free hot drinks • Complimentary cakes, sandwiches, pastries, and pies (subject to availability) • Hot cooked meals and drinks from our café menu • A child-friendly environment • Opening hours are: Monday to Saturday 9am-5:30pm • Dog friendly • Free water bottl

The Hive Community Centre

We offer a warm space with a cafe area with reasonably priced food and drink. 

We have a community fridge with free food that is available to everyone and anyone. 

We have a library and a kids play area which is only £1 per hour. 

We have puzzles and books if you wish to do one of these or read one of these in the cafe area.
