93 (City of Bath) Squadron RAF Air Cadets
We are the local Air Cadet unit based in Bath at the Army Reserve Centre on Upper Bristol Road. We parade Tuesdays and Fridays between 7pm - 9.30pm Aimed at young people aged 12 years old and in year 8 and you can join up until your 17th birthday.
Our aims are to provide training and development to young people in the local area through a wide a variety of activities.
We provide the following opportunities;
- Drill & Ceremonial Training
- Aviation Training
- Flying and Gliding opportunities
- Adventure Training
- DofE
- Leadership Training
- Marching Band Training
- Sports
- Cyber Training
- Radio Training
- First Aid Training
- Camps to RAF Stations
- Camps to Activity Centres
- Shooting Training (air weapons, and live firing)
Cadets can get involved in as much or as little as they like and can tailor their experiences to their interests.
We are an inclusive organisation that helps bring out confidence in our young people and the training, leadership and responsibility learned while with us are transferable to other aspects of school, home and working life.
