Care Experienced Council

A group for care-experienced young people aged 18-25. We meet monthly to help improve the care system and to take part in fun activities and trips. A safe space with other care-leavers. Completely free. Food provided and travel support available. We also run in-care groups for 5-11 year-olds and 12-17 year-olds: see 'In Care Councils'.

The Care Experienced Council is for young adults in BANES who have been in care in the past. 

The Care Councils are all supported by Off The Record to improve services for young people in care, by sharing their views and experiences. We have a lot of fun together making friends with people who get what it’s like.
