A golf coaching provider that focuses on building mental toughness in young people with SEND, SEMH and behaviour challenges.

Grassroots Golf delivers a programme of golf coaching that builds in a range of mental toughness skills to support young people's wellbeing.

I teach the sport of golf in a fun and exciting way, using the 'Unleash Your Drive' model of coaching. I teach all levels of golfer, from complete beginner to those children who have more experience of the game. 

The programme is aimed at children aged 11-18 (but can be adapted for younger ages) and focusses on building the following mental toughness skills-

Emotional Control

Goal Setting

We use the first-class facilities at Cumberwell Park, near Bath, including the driving range, short-game area, golf courses and the indoor simulators.

I am an experienced school teacher, with over 15 years of teaching in an inclusive mainstream school, and have a keen interest in helping improves the lives of young people and introducing them to a sport that is not always easy to access. I am an England Golf 'Community Golf Instructor' and I am qualified to deliver the 'Unleash Your Drive' programme, in partnership with the Golf Foundation.
