The Nest Project
The Nest Project aims to provide essential clothing, equipment and toiletries for children aged 0-5 living in B&NES and experiencing financial hardship - completely free of charge. We want to help give children the best start in life possible.
Who? If you are experiencing financial hardship and have children under the age of 5 and are living in BANES you can access our service free of charge. We understand that children grow quickly and you're welcome to keep on coming back as you need items.
How? You can request items via our booking system on our website, for collection or you can request a delivery if you have a BA1 or BA2 postcode. You can self-refer or be referred by a professional. You can also book an in-person consultation if you are expecting a baby, where we will help you go through a list of everything you need, and you can choose items from our store.
Donate: We rely on donations of mostly second hand items, given to us by other families in the area who no longer need them. We love that we are reusing and recycling items that are already in our community, and are able to pass them on to those who need them. Get in touch if you'd like to donate items to us: donations@thenestproject.co.uk
Opening hours
Collections and donation drop off times: Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-2pm
