Aged 16–21 and not in work, education or training? The Youth Guarantee project is here to help. If you live in the Bath & North East Somerset and aren’t in work, education or training right now, we’ve got free support to help you take your next step! Whether you need help finding a job, starting training, or going back into education you can access careers advice, confidence building, travel support, and hands-on work experience.

The B&NES Youth Guarantee is here to help young people aged 16–21 who are not in education, employment or training, to find their next step. Whether it’s getting into work, training, or education, we offer free, personalised support to make the journey easier. This includes one-to-one careers advice, help with confidence building, and practical solutions like free bus passes or e-bike loans to remove transport barriers. Our goal is simple: to make sure every young person in Bath & North East Somerset has the chance to succeed, whatever their starting point.Free bus passes, e-bike loans or community minibusesWork placements and interview opportunities with local employersCoaching and advice to help you take the next stepFunding support towards training, PPE and IDParticipants to get work placements, job support or identification of progression routes for their next steps
