Better Communication Together CIC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company providing licensed Makaton training, practical communication support and inclusive activities.
We offer licensed Makaton workshops for parents, carers, families, professionals, schools, early years settings, health and social care providers, charities, community organisations and other services.
We also run accessible online social and activity groups for people (age 16+) with learning disabilities and additional needs, including Makaton Club, Book Buddies, Kitchen Disco Live and other themed activities. Our sessions are designed to provide relaxed, inclusive opportunities to communicate, take part and connect with others.
Based in Thornbury, we provide face-to-face training across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, with online training and activities available more widely.
As a CIC, part of our aim is to make training and activities more accessible and affordable, including subsidised opportunities where possible.
