Step and Stone develops their trainees' career confidence through skills training and purposeful work experience in their artisan bakery. Trainees bake award-winning produce while accessing opportunities for community building and confronting social isolation in the friendly bakery days and at regular team-wide socials. Once a trainee is Work Ready, Step and Stone sources appropriate and meaningful work by approaching potential employers to offer Disability Confidence training and assistance with reasonable adjustments. To support a trainee's transition into work, Step and Stone provides travel training and job coaching for as long as the individual needs.
