SWALLOW is a user-led charity providing support for teenagers and adults with learning disabilities.
SWALLOW is a charity led by its members, teenagers and adults with learning disabilities. We provide a wide variety of services to support people in every aspect of their lives.
Our work gives the individual support that each person needs by providing a variety of services including:
• Supported housing,
• Outreach support in the community
• Independent living skills training
• Works skills training in a variety of settings including two cafes, horticulture and crafts skills.
• Day activities and therapeutic courses including art and cookery.
• Sport and fitness opportunities including football and Zumba
• Social activities including two weekly Boogie Nights sessions.
• Youth Group every Thursday 3-5.15pm (term time only) at the SWALLOW office. Open to anyone with learning disabilities aged between 13-19.
