Dorothy House Hospice Care
At Dorothy House, we provide exceptional personalised care to people in our community who are approaching death. That means we’ve got you: we’re here for our patients and their loved ones, as much or as little as they need us.
We provide care as close as possible to where our patients live, covering BaNES (Bath and North East Somerset), and parts of Somerset and Wiltshire. Our ten Community Palliative Care Teams covers this 800 sq. mile area, providing physical, psychological and spiritual support.
Specialist palliative care
As experts in providing specialist palliative care, our staff include doctors, nurses, therapists, carers and counsellors and will see patients at home, in a clinic setting or in a care home. They work closely with GPs, community nursing teams, hospital staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure a high standard of care and support. We are regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission.
