Stroke Association
This service provides practical advice, emotional support and high-quality information for Stroke Survivors (including transient ischaemic attack or TIAs/mini-strokes), and families and carers of people affected by stroke, living in Bath and North East Somerset.
We will work with you to identify and address your physical, practical and emotional needs through a personalised plan, and support you to rebuild your life after stroke.
We offer:
- Home visits and/or regular telephone calls;
- Communication support;
- 1:1 or group based Leaflets, factsheets and information;
- Information on Stroke risk and secondary prevention;
- Assistance with accessing local leisure, social activities;
- Carer Support Benefit Advice Signposting to other organisations that could help;
- Aphasia Choir Peer Support Group
