Bath Mind - Emergency Department Adult Intervention Service
Based at the Royal United Hospital in Bath’s Emergency Department, this service offers trauma-informed person centred support to people experiencing mental health decline or crisis.
This service offers timely interventions to support recovery and help individuals live their best lives safely. Bath Mind staff collaborate with people to identify the next steps for improving their mental health, following up within 24 hours of the initial interaction and at agreed intervals moving forward.
Anyone can access the Emergency Department Adult Intervention Service who is:
- Aged 18 years old and over
- Able to actively engage in support
- Presenting to the RUH’s Emergency Department with mental health crisis behaviours, low mood, depression or anxiety.
This service runs seven days a week from 8.30am to 5.30pm.
