About
SWALLOW has two community cafes, offering a range of tasty, nutritious and reasonably priced refreshments.
They are located in Radstock and Peasedown St John and both offer eat-in and takeaway options.
Both cafes provide training opportunities for people with learning disabilities.
They are staffed by SWALLOW members who learn important catering skills, both in the kitchen and front of house.
The aim of this café is to provide work skills training to local people with learning disabilities, to prepare them for the world of work outside of the café. The SWALLOW members who attend learn important catering skills, both in the kitchen and front of house. We offer a friendly, warm welcome to all our customers who in turn are patient and understanding whilst our SWALLOW members are learning. We provide a healthy selection of locally produced food at reasonable prices and provide a valuable service to the community.
