The Wellbeing House is a free 7-day retreat for those who want to enhance their mental health and wellbeing. Our beautiful and peaceful environment provides a place of sanctuary, where people can receive support to help them stabilise themselves, and prevent a deterioration in their mental health and wellbeing. You can also access this service through a self-referral.

Our friendly and welcoming groups are led by specially trained staff and volunteers. Our groups are for people living with mild to moderate dementia. Using Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy our sessions are based on having fun and forming friendships. Activities use all the senses and include, discussions, movement, crafts, quizzes and music.
If you have chronic pain, or want to make some changes in your life, or you're struggling to adapt to your situation, coaching may be able to help. It consists of a very useful conversation, where you will feel encouraged and empowered to take positive and effective action.

A one-to-one play-based therapeutic programme designed to support a child and carer to form positive and healthy attachments and relationships. This programme is usually offered in the family home over 10-12 weeks (more if the child has been fostered or adopted). Theraplay is a structured form of nurturing play which is led and organised by the adult whilst being responsive to the child. The carer and child are supported to further develop their relationship and trust in one another and other future relationships. The child’s social and emotional confidence is also developed. Delivered by trained practitioners as part of Bright Start Children’s Centre Services.
Bath and North East Somerset (BANES) Floating Support is a free short to medium-term service for people with mental health problems who are either finding it difficult to manage their tenancy and could be at risk of losing their home - or are moving into a new tenancy and need support to do this.
