We are an inclusive mixed infant community school for the education of children from 4 to 7 years. Our aim is to provide an excellent education for individual children. We believe it is fundamental that children are happy and secure at school, so that effective learning can take place within a positive, stimulating environment. Each child is treated as an individual with their unique talents and needs. A mixture of teaching styles is used, ranging from direct teaching of the whole class to specific teaching with individual children. Children have the opportunity to work independently and are encouraged to take an active role in their own learning. The school is situated in the centre of Bath, within walking distance of all the sports facilities, museums, art galleries and parks the city has to offer. We take every opportunity to explore the surrounding local area of Widcombe. We have strong links with the adjacent Widcombe CofE Junior School with the majority of our Year 2 children transferring to this school. We are part of the Palladian Academy Trust.
