Our friendly and welcoming groups are led by specially trained staff and volunteers. Our groups are for people living with mild to moderate dementia. Using Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy our sessions are based on having fun and forming friendships. Activities use all the senses and include, discussions, movement, crafts, quizzes and music.

Avon Fire & Rescue offer free Home Fire Safety Visits to vulnerable people in our communities, to keep them safer from fire in their homes. During our visits we talk about fire safety and install smoke alarms and potentially other fire safety equipment, free of charge. Bath Ethnic Minority Senior Citizens Association (BEMSCA) has been established for 30 years. It began initially as a luncheon club service for the older people of the Caribbean, Asian and Chinese communities in Bath and North East Somerset. BEMSCA offers a space where all older people can meet and socialise with people from similar ethnic backgrounds to themselves. They can also access advice and information on a broad range of health, mental health and housing and welfare issues, which can be a life-line for people who do not speak English as their first language.

We are The Rainbow Care Group, a new branch that has recently opened in the Bath area to help support people and their families with Dementia. We run a day-care service in various locations within the community to promote independence, social interaction and activity, cognitive stimulation and friendship. It is staffed by fully qualified support workers who develop individualised programs and activities that match our clients' needs.
