Bath Community Transport are an independent not for profit provider, that operate across Bath and North East Somerset to provide safe, accessible transport for people who cannot use public transport due to disability, age or lack of access to services. Groups can use the service to attend support groups, shopping, lunches out, day trips or to help you play an active part in community life. Individuals can use the service for transport to medical appointments. You must become a member and travel charges are payable.

We offer a range of days throughout the month to bring people together. Such as a Refreshing Day for Carers which takes place one Thursday a month from 10am - 3pm and includes a range of activities and cooked lunch, TLC Days for the Retired which takes place one Tuesday a month from 10am - 2pm and on the last Monday of the month we hold a Cuppa and Chat from 2pm - 4pm, where anyone is welcome to join who may benefit from a community connection.

North Star 180o is part of the North Star Academy Trust and is a day special school for young people aged 5-16 years. All pupils attending the school have an educational, health and care plan (EHCP), with an identified ‘primary need’ of social, emotional and mental health needs. Many of our pupils have other needs in addition to this, for example Autism, ADHD and Speech, Language and Communication needs.
North Star 180 aims to provide an individualised and high-quality education for all young people who are referred to us. We believe that all young people have a common entitlement to a broad and balanced academic and social curriculum and recognise the importance of preparing all young people to be an active part of their community.Community support and activities running through the week including social activities, lunch club, computer skills, craft groups, board games, Food Pantry, signposting, employment support and pastoral listening.
We are specialists in helping families recover from multiple and complex trauma and we provide 1:1 trauma recovery support to children, youth, young adults (aged between 3-24 years) and parenting support groups for parents/carers of those aged 16 years and under. We holistically support families through specialist creative therapies such as art therapy, music therapy, play therapy, creative counselling and specialist parent support groups.
Dial-a-Ride is a door-to-door, fully accessible minibus service for people who cannot use conventional public transport. You can use this service to go shopping, attend appointments and play an active part in community life.
We offer a range of services for Disabled children and young people in BANES including a 1:1 befriending service, term-time evening groups and a Holiday Short Breaks provision.
The Service provides educational support to children and young people (CYP), with hearing loss and/or vision impairment, their families and educational settings. This service is for deaf children and young people, children and young people who are blind or vision impaired and those with multi-sensory impairment (both vision and hearing loss). The service does not provide support to CYP with other sensory needs which are not related to vision or hearing loss.
