Young people need a home and support in life, as well as training and work. Some don't have these. We fill the gap.

Freeways Floating Support Service - B&NES

Floating Support is a short term service for adults with learning disabilities or dual mental health diagnosis who require support in relation to their housing, debt or benefits.

The Welfare Support Scheme provides B&NES residents with short-term, emergency help with living costs. Get help if you can't afford the basics such as food, energy costs, and household items, or need help with certain debts.

The Carers' Centre are a local charity dedicated to supporting the thousands of people caring for their loved ones in the Bath and North East Somerset area. They provide trusted information, advice and support to anyone looking after partner, family member or friend that may need extra help due to old age, illness, disability, mental health problem or an addiction.

Community Groups - Southside

Southside’s Community Hub Groups take place after-school each week (during term-time) in Foxhill, Twerton and Whiteway, Writhlington and Keynsham. These groups include a range of creative play activities and enable peer support - local families supporting each other on an equal basis, based on shared experience. The groups close with a free shared family meal, prepared by our professional chef.

Curo Independent Living Service (ILS)

A person centric support service that enables people to build independence and remain living within their own homes and communities. This flexible service offers a wide range of support mechanisms, including a personal alarm linked to a 24/7 monitoring centre. The service can be access free for up to 12 months for those who qualify.
