Friendship and meaningful connections are key to good mental health and wellbeing. Our befriending service provides community connections for older people in Bath and North East Somerset with regular phone calls and visits. We have found that by bringing members of our community together, they get such a buzz out of the relationship that genuine long term friendships are formed.

Our friendly and welcoming groups are led by specially trained staff and volunteers. Our groups are for people living with mild to moderate dementia. Using Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy our sessions are based on having fun and forming friendships. Activities use all the senses and include, discussions, movement, crafts, quizzes and music.
